PCAM Membership

Get listed. On merit.

PCAM lists Pakistani clinicians in aesthetic medicine in two tiers. Verification is deliberately hard to earn — a specialty title alone is not enough, and payment does not buy a badge. Below is exactly what we ask for, how the review works, and what disqualifies an application.

Two listing types

Verified vs Self-reported

PCAM Verified

Panel-reviewed. Badge, gold trust meter, city SEO pages, priority placement.

  • PCAM online modules (free) — must pass
  • Panel review of holistic practice & ethics
  • Verified badge on profile & search results

  • City + treatment SEO landing pages
  • Renewed annually

What we ask for

Verification requirements

Every item below is checked against the issuing authority. Missing or misrepresented documents end the application.

Current PMDC registration

Active Pakistan Medical & Dental Council registration in good standing. UK GMC where applicable. We verify against the register — no exceptions.

Primary medical qualification

MBBS or equivalent, plus any specialty postgraduate qualifications (FCPS, MRCP, MD, Dip Derm, FRCS Plast, BDS etc.). Certificates on file.

Recognised aesthetic training — not workshops

A specialty title (Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, MBBS) is not sufficient on its own. Applicants must document completion of formally recognised aesthetic training pathways. Weekend workshops, vendor product demos, and single-day "masterclasses" do not count.

PCAM online modules — mandatory & free

Every verified clinician completes PCAM's free online course series: facial anatomy, complication management (necrosis, vascular occlusion, hyaluronidase protocols), consent, ethics, and holistic patient assessment. Passing the end-of-module assessments is a condition of verification.

Holistic, ethical practice

We judge how the clinician approaches a patient — assessment, consent, follow-up, complication readiness — not just what they can inject. Applicants whose practice reads as product-selling rather than medical consultation are declined.

Product-sourcing chain

Toxin and filler sourced from authorised Pakistani distributors (Allergan, Galderma, Merz, Croma, Teoxane etc.). Grey-market Instagram supply chains are an automatic reject. Hyaluronidase in date on premises.

Review process

From application to badge

  1. STEP 01

    Submit application

Fill in the online form with PMDC number, qualifications, aesthetic training pathway, product sourcing and case portfolio.

  2. STEP 02

    Document review

PCAM secretariat verifies PMDC status, qualifications and training certificates against issuing bodies.

  3. STEP 03

    Complete PCAM modules

Access is granted to the free online module series. Passing marks required in each assessment.

  4. STEP 04

    Panel review

An independent panel (Pakistani clinicians + HSI London faculty) reviews the file for holistic practice, ethics and complication readiness.

  5. STEP 05

    £100/year listing fee

On approval, the annual verification fee is invoiced. This funds independent review — it does not buy the badge.

  6. STEP 06

    Go live

Verified profile published in the directory with badge, trust meter and city-level SEO pages.

Automatic disqualifiers

Why applications are declined

Most applications do not pass on the first attempt. These are the most common reasons — none of them are negotiable.

  • Toxin or filler sourced from unauthorised / grey-market suppliers.
  • "Trained" only via weekend workshops, vendor demos or observership certificates.
  • Advertising that guarantees outcomes, uses undisclosed before/afters, or targets minors.
  • No documented complication protocol (hyaluronidase, emergency escalation).
  • History of PMDC disciplinary action not disclosed on application.
  • Injectables delegated to non-medical staff without direct clinician supervision.
